Breast lift
At Geoderma Clinic, we offer breast lift services ideal for women who wish to restore their youthful appearance and femininity. Breast lift is an effective solution to address breast and nipple drooping caused by factors such as age, sagging skin, maternity and weight fluctuations. Breast lift surgery is suitable for women who are satisfied with the size of their breasts but wish to regain their shape and lift. In cases where sagging is combined with volume loss, the lift can be combined with breast augmentation, using prostheses or fat. This procedure helps women regain their confidence and feel more feminine. At Geoderma Clinic, we provide specialized solutions tailored to your needs, regardless of age.

What should be done before surgery?
Before surgery, it is important to take a complete medical history. Photographs are taken of the area to be treated and the doctor marks the surgical technique. Pre-operative breast examination with ultrasound or mammography is necessary. It is recommended to stop smoking 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after surgery to reduce the chances of complications. Avoid the use of aspirin, anticoagulants and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen before surgery.
What happens during surgery?
Before the operation begins, the incision is planned in a standing position. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Scars can be in an inverted "T" shape, around the areola and vertically down, or just around the areola, depending on how loose the breast is. The areola is positioned higher and decreases in size. Excess skin is removed and breast tissue is rearranged to lift and look more even.
Anesthesia: General anesthesia
Duration: 2.5-3 hours
Stay: 1 day
What happens after surgery?
After the operation, the stay does not exceed 24 hours. Drains are removed 1-2 days later. Gauzes are applied to the wound for about 2 weeks and the use of a special sports bra is necessary for 6 weeks. Most patients need 1-2 weeks off work, depending on the operation and their type of work. Exercise and weight lifting are allowed after 6 weeks. The scars will continue to improve and their final form will be visible in about 12 months. The final result of the operation is fully visible after one year. Breastfeeding is usually not affected, although there may be some difficulty.
What are the possible complications?
Possible complications, as in any surgery, exist, but they are controllable and limited in incidence. Some of these may be bleeding – hematoma, wound infection, nipple hypoesthesia.
